A variety of cleaners designed to remove dirt, residue, sooty mold and common blue and green molds are offered, several of which contain fungicides to enhance freshness. These soaps may be used in a soak tank, sprayed on the fruit, or used in a foam generator. Sodium hypochlorite is available in granular, liquid, and gaseous forms for added sanitation.
