Blue Ribbon Citrus Packers was formed in 1979 and is located on Hwy 27 in Dundee, Florida. Owned by Ellis Varner and two of his children, Kevin Varner and Annette Hastings, they concentrated on packing delicious and juicy tangerines and other "zipper skin" fruit. Eileen Varner, their mother, operated a gift shop in the front portion of the building selling mail order gift fruit and fresh squeezed juice.
Today Kevin, Annette and brother Brian are continuing the family tradition of packing only the finest Florida citrus fruits for both local markets and breakfast tables across the country. Seald Sweet is their sales and marketing organization.
