"HESCO began as a small cooperative designed to service only its members. Now nonmember buyers receive the same great service and preferred pricing."

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of becoming a HESCO Registered Buyer?

Since HESCO buys many supplies in large volume we are often able to negotiate far better pricing from manufacturers and vendors than our customers would be able to obtain themselves. We pass most of these savings on to our customers. In addition to value pricing, there are many other reasons to choose HESCO:

  • just-in-time inventory procurement
  •
  • reduced on-hand inventory and the resulting reduction in required capital,     obsolescence and pilferage
  •
  • experienced HESCO staff and our “service-first” approach
  •
  • single-sourcing efficiencies for your procurement staff
  •
  • quick and easy electronic ordering
  •
  • chain of custom control and risk avoidance by sourcing from an AIB-approved     warehouse facility

HESCO is terrific for any growing business, institution, school, hospital, agricultural operation, packing or packaging facility, or other company continually provisioning and restocking janitorial supplies, shipping supplies or films, hot melt or water-based adhesives or agricultural production supplies. We help you get competitive pricing, keep your on-hand inventory requirements low, and deliver just-in-time as your requirements dictate.

Are there any initial or ongoing membership application fees or costs?

There are no fees associated with becoming a HESCO Registered Buyer.

How can I become a HESCO Registered Buyer?

We welcome your application. Apply online or print out either of our applications to become a Registered Buyer: the Credit application if you’d like to establish an open account, or the Credit Card application if you’ll be making your purchases using a major credit card.

Your application is subject to management screening and HESCO reserves the right to decline or rescind your acceptance at our discretion.

What is the difference between a HESCO Member and HESCO Registered Buyer?

Currently, HESCO is only accepting applications for Registered Buyers – non-members who take advantage of the low-cost efficiencies of the cooperative without assuming the risks and benefits of being a Cooperative Member, such as the financial obligation to support the enterprise or the net margin refunded after overhead is paid annually. A Registered Buyer has no ongoing obligation to HESCO, other than the timely payment of outstanding invoices.

How does my order get delivered?

HESCO has a fleet of trucks delivering to most destinations in Florida. Consolidated or full truckload shipments are scheduled to specific areas daily. In addition, HESCO makes use of UPS and common carriers for delivery to other states and when the need arises. We pride ourselves on scheduling deliveries to meet your demands. Even in an emergency, we can find a way to deliver on a timely basis.
